Here is the plan for the week:
It’s a new year which means a fresh start. So, over the weekend I signed up for the Buffalo half marathon (which I run every year now). As such, Monday morning begins my journey back to the gym. I know…I know…typical New Year, new me crap, but I figure the half marathon is in May so I’ll at least be a gym rat until then and not just quit after two weeks. Hopefully though the gym isn’t packed when Mike and I go at 5 a.m. though. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
This week I also have a phone date planned with by BFFAA (best friend forever and always) who lives in Colorado. Our phone dates usually last a few hours and end with us crying and laughing. Should be a fun time.
I am also getting together this weekend with my old roommate to drink some wine and decorate my house. She has an amazing eye for home decor and I don’t have a creative bone in my body. I have a credit card though. So, she’s going to come over and give me some decorating ideas. Then, we are going to go shopping. Then, hopefully, we’re going to drink some wine and decorate my house so that it looks like adults actually live here. I am VERY excited.

Tuesday: I’ll give you the run down on Christmas and New Years and all the holiday excitement.
Wednesday: I have such loving friends and family members that they threw me two wedding showers. Wednesday I’ll be giving you the scoop on my Buffalo bridal shower.
Thursday: I was moved to tears at Mike’s installation banquet a few weeks ago. I can’t wait to tell you about what happened and about how proud I am of my husband. Get the tissues ready.
Friday: I’ll be sharing the five things I learned from my week of clean eating.
